Perfect Pancake Recipe

The perfect brunch dish is made even better when made with fresh whole milk from Carningli Dairy.

Fresh Whole Milk American Pancakes from Carningli Dairy

Ingredients 

  • 200mls Carningli Dairy milk
  • 200g self-raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • Pinch of salt
  • Knob of butter

To Serve:

  • Local smoked bacon
  • Maple syrup

Method

  • Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a large bowl. In a separate bowl, slightly whisk the milk and eggs together.
  • Add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients and beat with a whisk until you have a smooth batter.
  • Heat a large pan with a small knob of butter over a medium heat.
  • Add a ladle of the mixture to make individual pancakes and cook until they start to rise, and the top is bubbling. Flip the pancakes over and cook until golden on both sides.
  • Stack the pancakes and top with grilled smoked bacon and drizzle with maple syrup.
